Getting Started with Lucio

From unboxing to glowingβ€”four quick steps.

1

Take out your lamp, USB-C cable, and setup card. Give it a full first charge using a standard 5V adapter (avoid fast chargers).

2
Step 2

Open to Turn On

Open like a book to light up. Close & reopen within 5s to switch modes: Warm β†’ Cool β†’ Dynamic. Close for 10s to reset.

3
Step 3

Set the Vibe

Stands tall, folds wide, and snaps to metal surfaces (magnetic spine). Perfect for nightstands, cafΓ©s, desks, or bookshelf corners.

4
Step 4

Store or Travel

Close Lucio to turn it off. Once done, slide it back into the tote for protection when storing or travelling β€” keeps it safe from dust and scratches.

βœ… Quick Guide: What to Do & What to Avoid

Charging, care, and setup tips that keep Lucio glowingβ€”at home or on the go.

βœ… Do This

  • βœ… Use a 5V adapter (label: 5V/1A or 5V/2A)
  • βœ… USB-A ➜ USB-C cable (thin) or the included cable
  • βœ… OK to charge overnight β€” auto-stops when full
  • βœ… Keep away from water and extreme heat (stoves, heaters)
  • βœ… Wipe with a dry, soft cloth only

❌ Don’t Do This

  • ❌ No β€œFast Charge” adapters (18W, 20W, 9V, 12V, PD)
  • ❌ No thick laptop/tablet cables (e.g., MacBook/iPad)
  • ❌ Don’t use near open flames or steamy areas
  • ❌ Don’t submerge or spray with liquid cleaners
  • ❌ Don’t place heavy objects on Lucio, it may warp the spine or pages.
🏠 At Home
Ideal for nightstands, bookshelves, or desks. Keep away from heat sources and place on a stable, flat surface. Store in the tote when not in use to keep dust-free.
πŸ•οΈ Outdoors / Travel
Perfect for cafΓ©s, patios, cabins, and trips. The magnetic spine can attach to metal surfaces for stable display. Always keep dry and pack in the tote during transport.
✨ For Aura (compact) users
Aura’s spine is naturally firm because of its quality build. If you want it to stay flat (180Β°), just first open it all the way around (360Β°) for a few minutes β€” this gently loosens it for a perfect flat display.
